Original North Kingsville location of The Covered Bridge Pizza. This is also the present site of the restored Foreman Road Bridge, which is now The Covered Bridge Pizza Parlor.
A side view of the 55 ton Foreman Road Bridge. The Bridge spanned 126 feet and featured a lattice design known as Town Truss, which refers to Ithiel Town, a well-known Bridge Architect.
Loading up another truckload of wood from the bridge. During the dismantling, photographs were taken and matched to the carefully numbered crossbeams to insure that it would be reconstructed correctly.
The Foreman Road Bridge is blocked off in preparation for it to be dismantled. The bridge stood for 110 years before being auctioned and moved in 1972.
